Penghasilan tahi telinga pd seseorg pula adalh berbeza,ad yg byk, ad yg sikit. N ad juga seseorg yg mpunyai tahi telinga yg byk pd sebelah telinga jer.Tahi telinga bole dibahagi kpd dua jenis iaitu keras n lembut. Keras atau lembut tu disbbkn faktor genetik n lelemak yg tkandung di dlm tahi telinga.
Tahi telinga yg lembut n berwarna keemasan mpunyai kelebihan dr segi mbenarkn gelombang bunyi merentasiny.
Tahi telinga btindak sbg pelindung kpd telinga krn lendir atau cecair yg tkandung di dlmnya bole menyebabkn debu terlekat, kesukaran dimasuki serangga n mengelakkn jangkitan serangga.
